Privacy Policy

PostDose ("we," "us") provides a meal-planning app for iOS. This policy describes what information the app handles and the choices you have. The short version: we don't require an account, we don't sell your data, and we don't use third-party advertising or analytics trackers in the app.

Information you provide

During setup, the app asks for inputs used to personalize your meal plan, such as:

Age, sex, height, and weight, and your goal weight and target date
Medication type and week-of-dose information, if you choose to share it
Appetite changes, side effects, food preferences, and planning goals

These inputs are used to generate your meal plans, recipes, grocery lists, and in-app insights. You can use the app without providing any information that identifies you by name.

How your information is handled

Anonymous identity. The app signs you in anonymously using Firebase Authentication (a Google service). You are identified by a random ID, not by name, email, or phone number.
Plan generation. Your setup inputs are sent to our backend (Google Firebase Cloud Functions) to generate meal suggestions, then returned to your device. Your plan data lives on your device.
Service providers. We use Google Firebase to operate the app backend. Google processes this data on our behalf under its data processing terms.

Purchases

Subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment details. Manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your Apple ID settings.

Advertising and analytics

The app contains no third-party advertising or analytics SDKs. If you arrived via an ad, attribution is measured using Apple's SKAdNetwork, which reports aggregate, privacy-preserving campaign numbers to the ad platform — never your identity, and never your health-related inputs.

Your choices and data deletion

You can edit or remove your setup inputs in the app at any time.
Deleting the app removes the data stored on your device.
To request deletion of any data associated with your anonymous ID on our backend, email support@postdoseapp.com and we will complete the request within 30 days.

Children

PostDose is intended for adults 18 and older and is not directed at children.

PostDose provides meal planning and general nutrition information only. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and is not a substitute for guidance from your healthcare provider.

Changes

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update this page and the effective date above.
